Within 20 or so insertions I was able to get every male connector to fail (ohm meter shows open circuit) on the inner conductor. voltage never exceeded 12v 0.5a. Naturally this failure wasnt discovered till all of the soldering and heat shrink was applied. Threw them out and ordered some higher end RC battery connectors instead. There was also a concerning rattling sound in both the male and female connectors.

Conductor and insulation strong enough to provide minor strain relief. Did not break the connections down internally but appears to be well made. Conductor appears to be copper and seems flexible enough not to be compromised when wire has reasonable bends. No complaints.

The connection between the male and female connectors is solid with low resistance. The plastic of the connectors and insulation on the wires is well done. But, the wire is thin. It is 26 gauge, untinned, plain stranded copper wire. I plan to use these for 3A or less, so they will do. I havent tried stressing them to 6A to see if they heat up.
