Charizard Amiibo - Japan Import (Super Smash Bros Series)

I felt like getting my brother and sister in law a present, and this was his present as hes the Charizard fan of the two of us. I can only speak for my specific case, and I can tell you that the paint and design of this are on point. It also works for all regions, so you can use it for Smash Brothers when it comes out.

Product works great, and great price as well. Package arrived with no padding inside so product was shaken up a bit, no damage done thankfully. Second package Ive gotten from Amazon in the last couple weeks that had no bubble wrap inside. Disappointing. Other than that product itself was fine.

I thought this was a rather nice Amibo, A good quality figure like most of nintendos line. I am not sure if this is just a problem with me or with all of them but the right arm (the shield arm) seemed a bit loose. It feels like it could easily break off. As for the games it compatible with, the super mario maker sprite it unlocks is a bit nice, and I thought the Yarn yoshi skin was a bit cute. Though at the time of writing that about all for unique unlockibles , for most however it just kind of unlocks extra in game currency or something to that effect.

Although Nintendo has been actively been listening to fans by producing more amiibo [which was one reason why scalpers reduced their prices], yet again, they underestimate the popularity of all of their IP in Americas, including the ones more popular in Japan/Europe by still not producing enough amiibo. And thats why this review is getting 4 stars instead of 5. tl;Dr Great product, beautifully designed and high quality, but more expensive than it should be because of limited quantities and scalpers.

The product quality is good. The packaging game in good shape (it is in Japanese for any collectors that may have an issue with that). The plastic is well-molded and doesnt look cheap. However, with the more detailed/complex amiibo I have seen lesser quality. The other major plus to this product was that I was able to receive it for a reasonable (non-scalper) price. Be patient and wait for it to get into a reasonable price. Dont support scalpers by paying $20+ for a product that retails for $12. If you do, youre the reason why these things sell out the second any come out.

My daughter is a Big Zelda Fan and wanted this Amiibo from WIND WALKER so much, she really liked it is a very unique Desing.

Ive been collecting Zeldas amiibos. It has taken me quite a lot of time to find them all. The quality of these items is pretty good because they dont feel cheap to the touch. The NFC function works pretty well so far just as it was meant to work. The amiibos might be overpriced becuase they are scarce, but they are worth the trouble if you are a collector. Overall the amiibo is well made, NFC work, and it is detailed in every part of the character.
