Classic Messenger Bag - Durable, Water-Resistant, fits 13, 15, 17 Laptop

Ive owned and used a couple of Timbuktu messenger bags before this one. They are still perfectly functional even after 12+ years, but they do eventually show their age, especially if used commuting on a bike daily as mine were. I needed something that I wouldnt be ashamed of bringing into a business meeting and this fit the bill perfectly. The grey twill fabric is understated and sophisticated, and still looks nice after using for over two years now (though there is a very tiny bit of fraying at one bottom corner--something which never occurred with my previous bags).

Simple, clean, practical

I purchased the small Timbuk2 messenger bag for a recent vacation trip. It was just barely wide enough to hold my 14 laptop, with plenty of additional room for a tablet and various travel items. Everything was great about the bag, except the shoulder strap didnt extend long enough for my 6 1 height. Removing a clip extended the length of the strap two or three inches, and then it was just right.

One of the plastic buckles broke after light use, see attached picture.

Its very well made and lightweight. It is small but exactly what I wanted.

Like this bag a lot, and you can adjust the size of the interior. Only feature Id like is a bit of padding in the laptop section. Theres nothing to protect the back or bottom.

Ive bought this bag for work. I put my laptop, the charger, a jacket and food jar and theres still enough room for a tee and pants. The color is awesome. While choosing, I referred to my desire to be noticeable while on a road (bicycle is my main transport). As of the fabric, its polyester, durable and waterproof. Everything was dry after a rain got me. I think, this bag is good for a day or a weekend travel and is Ive of the best for commuting. It has enough compartments for small things and even a keychain

It has met and exceeded my expectations. I am absolutely loving it. I have the medium sized bag which fits in it everything I want with space leftover. Its waterproof, comfortable for prolonged periods and remains steadfast while cycling.
