April 25, 2022 Just got the extension cord today and it seems like a good quality cord. If I learn otherwise after using it, Ill write an update explaining its short comings but I dont think thatll be necessary. I did want to comment on the weight of the 50ft cord. I weighed it on a bathroom scale and it seems to weigh seven pounds. Just keep that in mind if you were thinking of buying a 100ft cord. You may want to break it down to two 50ft cords for ease of movement.

Long kink and tangle free power cord with Hot orange light at plugs Light blue jacket so it is noticeable when laying on ground or garage floor. Since this long cord has TPE Rubber wire jacket, the E means that is has that elastomeric jacket and not the plastic or thin rubber version that eventually split or tear open. This clearpower cord can take on the rough abrasion of my sidewalk and driveway and prevents those twists and kinks like my traditional orange cords. I purchased this cord based on the 12 AWG, three outlets, and the ability to remain in cold conditions during the winter. The lighted female 3 outlet end is wide and is a bonus, even those AC to DC converter bricks can fit in either socket and still allow for the remaining two to have cords inserted. One feature that is not listed on the product page is the included blue with red line velcro strap that is attached the to cord. I can quickly coil this 50 feet on my arm and wrap the velcro strap to bundle and then hang up off my bench or wall hook.

Pros Sturdy. Has 3 outlets. Length is perfect for our needs. Cons We are disappointed that, though the head has 3 outlets, there is only a single light. This is the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5.

I just bought a 100ft single plug one with the same gauge and amps for less and thought I picked 100ft not 50ft for that price.

Still using a corded hedge trimmer. Takes several 25 footers to get enough reach. Like the lighted receptacle end to tell me if it’s energized. Will probably last a lifetime.

I had 3 extension cords go out on me. I bought 2 of these, and havent had an issue. They are heavy duty and can stand up to the cold/damp weather. I would recommend getting covers for the outlets though.

I was Dissapointed , to find out that the cord is only 24 ft, at best ! Why is the cord not 25 ft , as advertiser ???
