Clip Studio Paint Pro - Version 1 - for Microsoft Windows and MacOS

I have been using CLIP STUDIO PAINT PRO for almost two years now and am extremely happy with it. It is a great software for illustrating and drawing, and is very easy to use.

This was one of my 18yr old sons Christmas gifts. He loves it :)

When it works. I had the trouble of it not working and or not wanting to update on my main personal computer account. I dont know what the hell was happening, but I had to keep on opening my computer under a completely different name in order to use the program. It was so annoying, especially when I got the updates and it started malfunctioning again. Eventually I just decided to get another program and never use this one. Will I ever go back to it?......... Maybe... At the moment Im using a free alternative and its way better. *shrugs*

Most amazing drawing software ever. Its tons better than photoshop and without the silly monthly payment.

Great colors, the 3D drawing feature is fun and easy to use..

I’m thrilled with the program and currently use it for inking hand-drawn artwork in vector format on my Mac. So much easier and better than trying to use Adobe Illustrator for the same thing. Vector layers in an otherwise raster environment is amazing! There’s minimal lag in my strokes, and they confirm very closely to my actual hand movement, so it’s much more like inking with real media.

It requires a learning curve if your not familiar with a product like this. A lot of information comes in Japanese but it does have a English translation button. I don’t know I think it could be a little more user friendly took me forever to just to start making visable marks on the board. Needs a video for the very basics for newbies like myself.

This software was given as gift and was told that it really a neat program to paint with.

I have used this program for several years and am here to share my general experience with it and give you some recommendations.

Love this program! Once you get it setup its pretty easy to use and understand.
