Clover 1056/MN Amour Crochet Hook, Size M/N/9.0mm

Never used a large gauge hook before. I am using heavy cotton yarn (Knitcraft Return of the Mac) to crochet a footstool. I have to adjust the way I hold it from the usual pencil hold to something more like Id hold a trowel. All seems good though.

I love these hooks. they make my work flow easy and faster.

From left to right I tried Knitters Pride, Prym, and Clover Amour. The worst was the knitters pride (the head was far too big/bulky, and the hook shaft was too narrow for too long), while the Prym wasnt terrible--middle of the road hook, in my opinion.
