The hook is comfortable to use but doesnt hold onto the yarn. Loops slip off too easily because the throat is shallow.

Having tried a number of hooks, the Clover Amour are my favorite. Not only are they far more comfortable to hold and manipulate due to the handle (both it’s presence, and it’s composition), I find that the hook itself creates a smooth crocheting experience. I recommend these to every crocheter who asks.

Ive been crocheting for more than 50 years so all of my crochet hooks are pretty old. The size I that I had was hard to use on the yarn I was using. So wondering if maybe it could be the hook, I searched and liked the reviews on this one. And it does a wonderful job - no splitting yarn. Im so glad I purchased it!

I literally have over 100 crochet hooks and this particular type of hook is, by far, the absolute best. It is smoother than the rest, it catches the yarn the best, it is the most comfortable to hold, and it is reasonable to purchase.
