> 24 hourGenerally, I prefer wooden knitting needles to metal ones and had discovered this brand at my local knitting shop. Unfortunately, they were unable to stock all the sizes as easily as Amazon, and so I purchased here for my project. Work well as circular knitting needles, although the circular part takes a bit getting used to if you’ve used to shoving all your cast-ons along the needle length.

> 24 hourI should have bought a longer length. It was hard to keep all the stitches on the needles while working the increase rows. The needles themselves are fabulous.

> 24 hourI got these needles because I wanted to try out circular knitting without spending a lot of money. I think theyre a good value for beginners, but probably wont be anybodys favorite. The joins between the cable and the tips are pretty smooth and sturdy, and I didnt have any problems with snags. The tips were well-made, not warped or splintered, but the finish is very grabby. Bamboo needles are generally higher-friction than metal, but these are even more high-friction than other bamboo needles Ive tried (like Crystal Palace dpns). This makes knitting with them feel more laborious than with needles that have a more polished finish. With these needles, I have to stop very often to push the stitches along the needles, whereas with my Addi Turbos, the stitches glide along much more on their own. This level of friction could be helpful to beginners, since it means theyre much less likely to drop a stitch, but knitters with more practice would probably prefer something that wasnt so grabby. Clover also makes a set of interchangeable circular needles, but they have the same finish as these needles, and thus I would not recommend that set, as I feel that a knitter would quickly outgrow them with increasing experience. A couple of these cheaper fixed circulars might be useful to learn on, but I feel it would be better to invest in a set with a slicker finish because they are easier on your hands over the long run.

> 24 hourI bought these for a young girl who is learning to knit. This brand of bamboo needles are the only ones I like. Amazing how a quality needle makes a difference on how easy it is to knit. Also local craft stores carry this brand but the length of cord is too long. Thank you Amazon for coming through for me once again.
