> 24 hourVery happy with these circulars. I am a Takumi long time fan. Had been working on knitting large circular blanket and was scrunched up toward the end, but after transferring the project to these needles with the extra long length the project was much easier to handle. The yarn just glides easily over the bamboo/plastic connection. Because I was already most of the way through the project, I didnt think about warming the circulars to relax the coiling of the plastic. Thankfully the weight of the project helped keep the circulars from coiling too much.

> 24 hourI have never had a circular needle that I had to file down until I got these. The circular part had excess glue where it attaches to the needle. I had to file it down because it kept separating the yarn and catching it.

> 24 hourIm new to knitting and crochet so this is my first time using wooden needles - Im not a fan. The bamboo catches the yarn so much that you have to slide each stitch off one by one while shoving the newer stitches closer at the same time. Theyre just annoying. Plus, Im worried theyre snagging the tiny fibers of the yarn and making it less sleek. Maybe wood/bamboo is good for newbies just starting out so the yarn doesnt slip but theyre a hassle in my opinion. Im gonna give them one last shot on a throw blanket but Im not holding my breath on the success Ill have - or the amount of patience Ill have either.

> 24 hourI just started knitting a month ago, as I wanted to make some scarves and hats as Christmas presents for family members. Several years ago, a friend had tried to teach me (futilely) to knit on metal needles. I kept dropping stitches and could not get into the knitting groove. Luckily, Clover bamboo needles came to the rescue! I was knitting and purling within minutes of watching some videos on youtube. So far Ive used a few sizes of Clovers straight and circular needles, and Ive enjoyed using all of them. But I bought this pair, in particular, to knit a hat using the Magic Loop Method. Although I did wind up with a ladder in my work, the hat still turned out really well. My boyfriend loved it. Im going to try a pair of mittens next.
