I have been making blue and yellow wash clothes to support Ukraine. Aunt Lydia’s is a solid brand. It is a little stiff at first but as you use it, the yarn will soft. The yarn will split easily but a little tug or here and it’s back in place. After I wash something I make with this yarn, the stitches tighten up, eliminating most holes. The blue is nice royal blue. I was able to make 7 wash clothes for the 2 different yarn balls. I don’t use this type of yarn for clothes or blankets. Works great for wash clothes, table runners, place mats, baby bibs. Highly recommend.

I bought this to crochet little balls to use as ornaments on a ridiculous Christmas tree hat that I made. The yarn worked perfectly. Wonderfully bright colors. Excellent quality yarn. No breaks or loose areas. Consistent quality.

I know that the prices are high, but can make it a little bit more less expensive for people like me that is on a fixed income and enjoyed using this thread. Cant hardly find these colors in the stores. Wal-Mart dont care the colors I need and when I go to the craft stores they hardly care some colors, so I had to order them from Amazon.

I have used a lot of Aunt Lydia’s string, but I don’t know what it was with these last few that I bought? The color was kind of dingy, so I don’t know if I want to use them or send them back!!!!

the delivery was a little late but my post office took responsibility for that. the product is a brand i have bought before and i love using it. the color holds up really well and is easy to find again when i run out.

I bought these on a sale so value for money is a bit skewed. The metallic thread snaps easily.

I used this as a double strand to crochet a swimsuit cover. It was easy to use .It was a bit stiff but after washing it was soft. Didnt finish as I really wanted white and this was just for practice. First time using string and not a yarn.
