You need to go into your iPhone settings and do many things. I have never seen a lightning cable like this and it says its MFI certified deff not plug and play beware

I bought a 2 pack of these and I use it maybe once a week. It has only been 3 months and the first one already stopped working! Would not buy again. The seller only gives 1 month to be able to return.

These Compaq charging cords are great. They work as described. The coil is really strong and they bounce back to the original shape and take up very little space.

This cable is the perfect length to charge and tether Kathies iPhone to her car. There now are no intermittent disconnects between the phone and the car. The black and red matches her interior to boot.

Cord is shorter than expected but good quality.

Affordable and practical

Good cable size for the money but had issues with one in less than 2 month from purchase (issues on usb connection that makes phone lose connection with car).

The cords work great and hook up the CarPlay. No problem However, the cords need to be longer. I don’t even think a Shriner in a mini parade car could hold the phone to his ear; and the elasticity is strong. This thing will pull the phone right out of your hand. Please double the length.
