My last English umbrella was bought while in England and I wanted another one. The English never fail in craftsmanship and everyone would borrow it. I needed another well made umbrella and I was greatly pleased as soon as I opened the package. Thank you! I would love it if you made an umbrella in a bright red or orange. I would surely purchase it.

The only thing I like about this umbrella is the 24 rib canopy which give an impression of being amazingly strong. It does have a good bit of weight to it but is still manageable. This is the second umbrella I received. The first one arrived damage. The ferrule was smashed in and it was obviously hollow, so dont put any weight on it. The first one also had a major issue with the locking mechanism and would not stay closed. Being a very strong umbrella that automatically opens and cant be kept closed unless snapped was a terrible experience. Lastly my biggest complaint is the handle. The title and the description both state Solid Wood Hook Handle & This umbrella also has a solid wood hook handle. respectively. This is obviously a lie. A few days after receiving the second umbrella it fell out of my vehicle when I opened the door and struck the concrete. This chipped the finish revealing some sort of fiberglass/resin handle. If you look in the second photo youll see a metal collar where the handle joins the shaft is not only cheap looking but a new addition to the design that is not show in the sellers photos. On top of that, the quality of the install terrible. It does not sit flush or straight. I really really like the canopy. Its elegant and sophisticated. Everything else on this umbrella is a joke. The old adage is true. If you want something done right youll have to do it yourself. I plan to replace the handle and ferrule shortly.

I loved the look of this umbrella, but the silver piece at the top of the handle came off, the wooden stem began to splinter apart, the end of one of the ribs fell off, and now the latch wont stay closed at all. Almost every inch of this umbrella has fallen apart and its no longer usable. So disappointed. Such low quality.

What can you say. Its excellent. Holds up in heavy wind. Can double as a walking stick in a pinch. Great looking. Cheeky name. Had one and I liked it so much I bought a second

Handle is not wood as advertised. Looks like wood although. Found it heavier than expected. It is of good quality and I have used it under heavy rain and strong wind. No surprised nor disappointed. Sturdy and elegant. I like it, and plan to use it for years to come.
