    Greater than one week

Large birds are SMART and they have some power to lift and destroy! I expected this to fit SECURELY to the cage. Meaning not only for the mirror to screw on, but also the back bottom of the mirror/rope to also attach. Otherwise my bird WILL find a way to get it down! With only two slip over the bar rounded hooks on top of this, my bird will knock it off! I purchased the LARGE for my African Gray parrot only to see immediately on arrival that this is made for a small barred cage if you want it secured! As seen in photos there is no way to secure the bottom portion of this to my cage! Large birds require large cages and the bars are wider apart and much thicker than a small bird cage. This is a design fail for this manufacturer! The only thing this mirror does is slip onto the bar at the top of the mirror. Theres no screws or latch. Could I take industrial pliers and try to squeeze the top rounded hooks to the cage? Maybe. But even IF that worked then Id be stuck not able to move or easily remove for cleaning so not going to try. VERY disappointed! This is NOT for large birds! And it is heavy! Be warned: if you have multiple large birds in one cage and this were to get knocked off and hit them, youd probably have a dead bird! This manufacturer needs to increase the length of the screw treads on the rope portions and include extra large washers to enable this mirror to be secured on all four corners! It also need two or 3 hole setting rather than just the one that it has because different cages bars are spaced differently. On my Hahns Macw cage the metal post for the perch hits the bar so this wont lay flat! If I lift up to make the mirror lay flat then the upper hooks dont touch the bar (see pictures). So be aware this may not fit without modification. For smaller birds I probably wouldnt worry so much about because this mirror not having yop AND bottom secured because its heavy and its not likely a small bird could knock it down. But if you have a smart medium to large bird I advise to not use it as is! Im going to try and buy larger washers and hope it works in my Grays cage.

My Quaker loves this mirror and perch so much, he stands on it everyday. He loves to look at himself and give kisses in the mirror! This is a good quality product and I recommend it.

My african grey loves his new mirror. Whenever we go out he goes and sits in front of his mirror and talks. I think he found a friend in the mirror. Since its metal, I have peace of mind he wont break and injure himself.

I have a very active Conure and he loves this mirror. He loves to stand, and chew, on it. This mirror is one of his favorite toys. It is definitely standing up to a large amount of abuse.

Nice mirror and includes a rope perch. It was just too big for the cage I have for my parakeet. Will not fit. So I ordered 2 smaller.
