Comet CF-706 Duplexer for Transceivers - HF-VHF/UHF

Great duplexes. I got it as part of a combo package and it works, perfectly, as most Comet products.

High quality and well made we are using this Im a solar powered repeater it connects two handhelds and shares an 8 ft antenna , def a good purchase for price and will last

I installed this with an ATAS antenna. Worked great.

It does what it is supposed to do but the female connector is weakly designed and mine failed after only a few uses. Its not replaceable so you need to throw it out when the connector fails. Ill try a different brand next time.

Everything as stated on product listing. Arrived on time. Works as advertised. Very good quality, would not hesitate to purchase again.

Work great

I bought this for a mobile install for my Yaesu 857D radio and it works like a champ. It’s connected to an ATAS-120A antenna, so this is perfect. The device is larger than I expected, but I didn’t have any trouble tucking it away under the dash.

I usually like Comet products but this Duplexer has very high SWR on 440MHz. Appears to be dead on UHF, VHF shows an SWR of 2:1. HF side seem to be okay. Took it out of service and replaced it with a antenna switch. I have another Comet duplexer that does work just different connector, also a Diamond duplexer for UHF and 1.2Ghz. Both work with no SWR issues.

I have used Comet products for 20 years knowing I will get quality materials that consistently perform. I recommend Comet antennae and duplex/triplexers without reservation. KB7NES
