Was going to print hinges and use plexi glass, but this was cheaper. Works great and keeps the heat in, cool out! Can hook up exhaust fan for ABS. Keeps hair, cats, and dust out as well!

I wanted to enclose my 3D printer, but by the time I finished wasting money trying to buy accessories to enclose it, I decided to just buy an enclosed 3D printer to begin with. This thing was such an eyesore and smelled terribly. I ended up buying a flashforge AD4 instead.

Its probably bigger than you think...I bought the small version and assembled it only to realize that it was way bigger than i thought and wouldnt fit on my desk. Make sure you measure carefully to see that it will fit where you need it to fit. Overall quality looks good. assmbly instructions were easy to follow and assembly was easy enough.

I almost purchased the smaller of the two enclosures, but based on feedback from others with the Ender 5 I went with the large. Large is an understatement! There is plenty of room inside, plus room for the spool to either be side mounted or top mounted. My printer pretty much sits in the back-right corner nearest to the round vent opening because I relocated the power/electronics and LCD to OUTSIDE the tent. Temps when printing SPLA, PETG, or ABS were in the 100 degree range so I did not want the sensitive electronics to be harmed or risk failures. The stock cables were just long enough when placing the power box as indicated in the photos. The Z axis motor cable is the shortest of the bunch and just barely makes the stretch. I had already replaced my extruder motor cable to setup direct drive so I dont know if the stock cable is long enough or not.... As for stable temps, I am no longer having prints warp on the corners, adherence to the heated glass bed is amazing! It does cut down on noise, but not really all that much. Its definitely quieter, but my main reason to get it was the stable ambient temperatures allowing me to have less wasted prints due to warping and other temperature related defects. There was one small issue with the seams of the zipper, but the seller was very quick to respond and is shipping another tent (minus the poles) to replace this one. Very quick response, very satisfied with the entire process so far!

Just spend a little more and get a Creality branded tent if you really need one. This thing is junk

Purchased as most of the XL enclosures are way too big IMO, wouldnt fit on my desk, so I cut a hole in the top for the filament spool and it works great!

When in motion the y axis motor gets caught by the exhaust vent pockets. Only way to use it was to turn it upside down...

Trying to print a thin large piece with PETG, kept partly coming off the heated bed regardless of what temperatures, speeds etc I tried and ruined the print. Printer in server room at constant 63F and air moving about. This perfectly allows the intended bed surface heat to remain where it is generated and solved the release problem. A monkey could assemble it. It keeps your printer as dust free as you can expect in a normal environment.

Easy to assemble and further quiets an already quiet machine (Ender 3 V2). Machine simply cannot be heard when enclosure is secured. Great protection for the printer as well.
