The brass were used to make threaded rods for a project I had in mind. I wanted to thread the ends with #8-32 threads. The rods measured a perfect 0.157 with my digital calipers.

Purchased the 1/8th, and 1/4 in rods and use them for the center pin/axil pin on the yo yos I make from left over cut offs/scrap wood. They work great and add that little bit of extra weight needed when light wood is used.

Perfect for my knife making needs.

good straight pieces suitable for lathe turning though I used it by forming and brazing for belt buckle craft.
