Ive tried several of these shaker bottles and the Contigo Shake and Go is the best for a couple of reasons. 1) The lid is easy to seal and then unscrew. It seals tightly and nothing leaks when secure. 2) The ball inside is HEAVY and really effective in breaking up any powder inside....almost like mixing it with a spoon or fork. Some of the shaker bottles come with lighter inserts that arent as effective. 3) The rounded bottom of the bottle prevents powdered stuff to get stuck in the corner and not mixed. Its also easier to clean with a bottle brush. One warning, the cap over the opening on top clicks TWICE. Make sure you close it securely, I have a feeling the people who complain that it leaks dont push down the mouth of the bottle all the way.

I love this shaker. The ball is heavy enough to make mixing up protein powders and additions easy. It is easy to clean, mine doesnt leak AT ALL. I love the convenience and it works better than others I have owned before. It is perfect for on the go, or to sit and sip leisurely, and if you dont need a blender for your drinks then this is perfect. I have used it without the mixing ball for a drink by itself and of course it is great for that, too.

This bottle is pretty big, but also pretty perfect. It is made of durable, hard see-through plastic - thick and sturdy. The lid is easy to take on and off, and drink from, and both the lid and the drinking spout are completely spillproof. Goes in the dishwasher safely, doesnt stain from drink mixes, and the shaker ball really does the trick. It is big, and so a bit heavy, and is slightly bigger than my car cup holders, so it fits in my car, but not super snuggly. I like the big size - I know Ive had a good amount to drink when Im able to empty this bottle a few times a day. Would def recommend or buy again.

I purchased 3 of these, and while I did like them overall I did decide to purchase a different style when I needed another one. As long as I made sure the lid was closed (and on right!) than I havent had any issues with leakage. I did have a couple times where it started spewing because I thought the lid was on tight, but it wasnt. I just learned to put my hand on the spout cover as I shook. I love the size and they are easy to clean....If I forgot to rinse them out soon enough than I just put them in the dishwasher. The one major complaint I have is that the sunken spot on the lid (the round spot that pushes into the drinking spout) pushes down so hard that eventually all three of them got a large hole in that spot where it actually separated from the plastic surrounding it. This essential makes the lid garbage and since you dont get a replacement lid; the entire thing is garbage at that point! Each one lasted several months, but for the price I would like to try to find something that will last me a great deal longer.

I live off of these shakers. For years, literally. After trying many types of shakers I only buy this brand because of the fact that they are durable, easy to clean and they do not leak if you take care of them. If you put very little liquid in them and shake very hard of course the container is going to break. If you put the components on the bottom shelf of course, melting may occur and the threading may leak. This is how I take care of these containers, and some of them have lasted me for five years no joke. Once I’m done using it, I’ll rinse it out. Once I’m ready to wash it, I will soak it for 15 maybe 20 minutes in hot water, soap and baking soda to get any lingering protein smell out. I’ll hand wash frist before I put them in the dishwasher with the containers and the lids on the top shelf only the bottom shaker balls in the silverware trays and that seems to be fine. With a little care of these are truly the best shakers.

Im new to shaker bottles, so maybe they are all great, but this one really solved a problem for me. Ive been drinking Soylent for a year or so, but each packet contains too much product for me to get to before it goes sour. If you arent familiar, Soylent is intended to be a nutritionally complete meal supplement. The powder is similar to whey powder. I tried a power whisker. That left little clumps. This shaker bottle makes enough for a day, mixes easily and well, and is easy to clean. It is sturdy and seals well. I bought a second one to use at work.

This bottle is so sturdy a good size for anytime use. My sister who is pregnant took over the cup because she loved it so much. It’s extremely affordable for the quality of a $20 cup.

I ve had a few shaker bottles from Contigo and I love this one with the storage container at the bottom - very helpful for work and travel - I dont need little container and baggies for my shakes ... If you have a good protein that little plastic ball should be all you need to mix everything together really well. No leakes and easy to clean too!

We use these cups every day for protein drinks. I can say that the new ones are not as thick as the older version and the ball is a lot thinner, that part sucks but it is still a good deal at this price.
