These appear to made out of a heavy duty plastic or acrylic. They are about a quarter of an inch thick and there is no flex in them when they are loaded with a controller. I did try to flex it with gentle pressure. The only part that moves is the v-shaped portion that attaches to the wall. This would be hard to break under normal use. It seems durable. The black finish is a high gloss.

The product was easy to install and holds really well. Just a little to well. As in I took chunks of my wall trying to take them off. I followed the instructions and heated them and then gently pried them off with a knife but near the end they would rip off with some of the wall. If you ever plan on having to remove them just remember at the very least your going to have to repaint, and at the most get spackle.

This was a good purchase for us. My husband was tired of not having a designated place to keep his remote controls and these mounts help to keep them within reach for the different gaming systems that he has. The surface that you stick your mounts on should be cleaned beforehand and you can only have one item for one mount. My husband tried to put his headset and a controller on one mount and the mount fell. Other than that though, I am happy with my purchase and would recommend.

This Controller Wall Stand is a must if you or someone you know is a gamer. My son has multiple controllers. Two of them are usually on a charging stand and one is in use. When he is done, one is just left sitting somewhere. Now with this Wall Holder, it has a home. Two of them come in the pack and the 3M adhesive is very strong. Just follow the instructions and do not use them for 24 hours after you put them up to let the adhesive set. Along with these we also purchased the Wall Holder for his headphones.

Edit #2: its been many months now, and these are still solid. I also bought a PS4, and while these work best for Xbox, they work great for PS4 as well (just not quite as snug a fit). Also works well for Switch controller and Switch pro controller. The Switch Gamecube controller technically stays up if balanced. Ive bought 8 of these so far and am happy with them.

Love it. Works great. Just use the 3M tape they give you. I cleaned the wall first than dried it and stuck it on there. Nothing to it.

Great design, look and feel. The material is sturdy and the product is very useful.
