> 3 dayBoth my girls are dyslexic. The six-year-old is learning to read and write but always gets her bs and ds, ps and qs mixed up. This was actually really good for her to reference because the card has both the picture on one side and then the spelling on the other, so she can make sure she has the letters set up properly. The three-year-old played with them as well, mostly just matching up letters and then saying what the picture was, but she was thrilled that she was reading the word. The cards are fairly sturdy. Think thick index card weight. The colors and pictures are great and really catch the kids eyes and keep their attention. The spelling on the back of the card is color coded to match the letter blocks, so all the vowels are red and the consonants are blue. This made it super simple for them to build words. The consonant blocks are about the size of a quarter so just watch out if you have a little one who likes to eat things.

> 3 dayThe cards are sturdy and the words are big, so they’re easy to read. My son has fun sounding out the letters and learning to spell each word with the wooden pieces. This is a great tool for beginning readers and it feels more like a game for them so it makes it fun. The packaging is also giftable.

> 3 dayI am a teacher with young ESL students. This product is a great tutoring tool! However, one of the vowel blocks (the _ e _ block) had the e on the wrong side of the block. I had to use a Sharpie pen to make use of the block.

Greater than one weekThis is a wonderful learning activity. There are several ways to use the tiles and words for matching. I used this as a reinforcing exercise in between two reading lessons and the students found it fun and engaging. I would have liked to have some sort of wooden stand to set the word cards on but I just propped them up against the other cards. The set comes with a draw string bag that holds all of the parts.

> 3 dayThis was a great resource to help children learn the CVC pattern. The cards are color coded by the vowel sound. Also the cards help children to check if they made the correct word. This resource is definitely worth the money.
