Is durable light white can handle the wind

Just received this umbrella, opened package to find the umbrella will not open. How disappointing. Am returning it for a refund!

Excited to get new bigger wind proof umbrella ( it’s really sunny & gets really breezy in Az.) tried opening it would not open getting a replacement today, waiting for UPS to pick up defective 1. Very annoying and time consuming to have to return item but not gonna pay for something that doesn’t work!

This umbrella just fits into the console of my car, but it is more realistic to place it in the pocket behind the seat. Everything has to be just so for it to fit in the console and takes up space for other more frequently used items. In the seat pocket it goes in and out with no problem. The umbrella itself is well made and protects from rain as expected. The handle grip is a bit small but still provides a secure gripping point for the occasional gust of wind. The push-button opening is very nice when exiting a vehicle. I also like the use of recycled material in the manufacturing process. It is a battle getting it back into the case after use, and I have discarded the case. The netting of the seat pocket I store the closed umbrella in has proved adequate for containing it.

Feels really light and it’s easy to carry around in my bagpack. Also, it feels very durable. Will come back after month and update my thoughts.

This is a very substantial umbrella. Great size, with strong arms. I was using it during a storm with a lot of wind, and there was no threat of failure. One button to open and collapse. The fabric is extremely waterproof, just collapse and shake, and you can watch the beaded water just shake off. There is a lovely little message on the inside that says, Always a good day, which makes me smile. Bottom line - very nice umbrella at a solid price point.
