Corel PaintShop Pro 2022| Photo Editing & Graphic Design Software | AI Powered Features [PC Disc] [Old Version]

Have used 2 earlier versions of this software for years. The first version was before ownership was taken over by Corel. This software has always been intuitive and easy to use. Each version has added more features and maintained the ease of use. Excellent photo enhancement software.

The software works as expected. What wasnt expected was that every time the software is opened I am greeted with advertising. I thought I bought photo-editing software. What I really bought was a platform for Corel to display advertisements to me.

This product far exceeds my expectations for the price for this type of software. The best!

Would not recommend does work as promised freezes all the time or wont load

It was too old for my lap top.

I bought this to upgrade from a prior edition I bought ten years ago. The box with the installation CD arrived with the seal broken, the box having already been opened. Called customer service, but they only want me to preorder the newer edition instead. I should have remembered they were a joke because the last time I called to troubleshoot an error I was getting, they claimed someone would be in contact with me, which never happened. The disc was inside the opened box and it allowed me to install on my home computer. Im hoping that since this is clearly a used product, itll still let me install on my laptop as well.

I lose rasters of material. they just vanish.

I know, its 2022, who uses Paintshop Pro any more? Well, me for starters! Ive used it for 20+ years and it works so Ive no need to learn something new just to be like everyone else. Whilst Photoshop is also available on a perpetual (non-subscription) licence, PSP is only available on one. However, PSP has been owned by Corel for a while now (I also use CorelDraw..what a luddite!) and they introduced all sorts of annoying phone-home, telemetry, activation, in-program adverts and Corel Guide which I have no interest in so dont want to be bothered with a login on every load. I paid for this software - Corel (and other software makers) dont need to steal my personal data like its their own...sorry, not steal, I mean collect information for product improvement....

I really dont know if I like or dislike as I havent had a chance to really use this software. The instructions do seem a bit convoluted and hard to understand but I will keep trying. Software shows potential for being a great help once I understand it.

When I received my package I immediately put it in my HP computer elite book 8470P and there is nothing that is on the desk of paint shop pro so I would like to send this back and get a refund or send me another one and let’s try it again there was nothing at all to download it was a blank disc
