Corel PDF Fusion Document Management Suite [PC Disc]

Avoid!

After buying PDF Fusion as a cheap substitute for the full Adobe Acrobat, I found it would not open many pdf files. This made the purchase pretty useless. It was good when it worked (Windows 7). Unfortunately, I went on vacation through the 30 day return period.

We purchased this after using Adobe Acrobat Pro for years but the cost has been getting so high we thought why not try something a little less expensive that seemingly does the same thing. We primarily use this for assembling multiple PDFs into one portfolio, use in contracts, and for setting up brochures using Work, pictures, and other PDFs. This product CHANGES THE FORMATTING FOR BOTH PDF AND WORD DOCUMENTS!! It changes the font, it randomly makes middle of sentences bold. We tested with several documents both in Word and other PDFs and they all had the random font changes and bold formating where there was none in the original documents, both scanned and directly from Word or Excel. I know we cant return software but we will never use this product again and spent the extra money to go back to Adobe. Extremely disappointed, at the very least you should be able to assemble multiple PDF documents into one without any changes happening to the documents.

the reason I just downloaded this is because I searched under Amazon for PDF Software, OCR Software or OCR Converter, and this was the number one result. It doesnt do this. It works well for adding bookmarks and adding pages, very easily. I did already have this under a program called PaperPort and I bought this because Paperport was lacking the PDF searchable format. I spent $$ on the same thing. One thing I did like is that it added bookmarks, but, as I earlier stated, I searched for OCR software, not bookmarks. For that reason I am giving it 1 star and I hope you dont get fooled into buying this lie.

Was a little disappointed that I cold not do some things I am used to doing with Acrobat. I think I will look into getting Acrobat for at home.

Great product that does what I need for PDFs without spending the big bucks on Adobe Acrobat. Would recommend this product.

I bought this product because someone I know was filling in PDF job applications. I tried several free applications and wanted to try the Corel offering because the company has a good reputation in the IT community. In use, the form modification feature wasnt as usable as any of the free offerings and as a PDF reader, it wasnt as usable as Adobes free offering.

Corel software writers need to do what they are getting paid for instead of being on a permanent holiday no patches or updates for pdf fusion since 2013 and this software ic full of bugs that will make you want to pull your hair out! PLEASE GET OFF YOUR BUTS AND FIX THE PROBLEMS!

Dont download it. It introduced a virus into my computer. Probably better off with the CD or USB.
