Had a defective chip from the very start which can happen to anyone other than the time it took to locate the problem Corsair was very quick to send a return authorization no. and the time to send it to them and get the replacement was just about a week. So am very please with the way they handled the warranty. Fast and painless.

They were installed and working fine. It seems the cooling system for memories ICs on the sims is very good. Recomended

I loved it. I was eventually able to over clocked it to 1866MHz. It has not shown any trouble for the last three years. I eventually bought another set to get 32GBs

I just doubled my rigs memory for considerably less than the cost of the 8GBs that these replaced - and I bought those three years ago. And so far, so great. I can open up programs until my WIN7 taskbar is full of things like Photoshop, Word, a browser or two, a media player, email, skype, etc. And the load on the memory barely hits 6GB. Same with playing a resource-intensive game. Well worth the money.

Easy install. Sticks ran at a lower speed initially. Had to use an app to manually change it, BIOS wouldnt accept the speed increase.

Let put it simple - right now there is a trend to install huge heat dissipator in a memory bank. It seems that the marketing wants to create a cool look, but in fact thats a bad decision because most of the time they will create problems when you try to install the cpu cooler. And I want the best cooling solution to my CPU, not to my memory.
