I have purchase at least 5 sets of these filters. They do an amazing job at removing the odors, pollen, and dust in my 1000 sqft house. Life of the filters is dependent on how much particulates are in your house and frequency of use. In general, its best to replace the filters at the specified cycle from the manufactures or sooner if you are a heavy user like myself.

I initially purchased the Coway AP-1512 unit based on a strong recommendation from a well known online review source in May of 2020. The unit met my expectations well for a year. In May of 2021 it was time to replace the filter, which I did with a replacement that I purchased from Amazon in October of 2020. As soon as I turned the unit on I was met with a very strong smell akin to oil or some type of adhesive. To me, this was completely unacceptable so I contacted Coway directly and after a series of emails they agreed that this was a known issue and they kept some on hand at their office to send out to folks that were experiencing this. They kindly sent me one directly from their office after assuring me that it would be completely odorless just like the original that came with the unit... IT WAS NOT! I may have run the machine for a total of 30 seconds before my entire living room was filled with a horrible stench. I immediately turned it off and removed the filter and placed it outdoors and opened some windows. My girlfriend came over about a half hour later and asked why my house smelled like a machine shop. The odor did eventually dissipate but now Im stuck with a machine that I cant use unless I can find a reliable replacement filter. Im not sure what is going on with Coway but Amazon should really consider not making these available until the problem is seriously addressed. In the end, I would strongly urge anyone considering this filter to keep my and others experiences in mind.

These fit as expected, and were in good condition. I cannot speak for anything else though, as I dont have a way of testing them. I can say it helped with my allergies when my sister brought her dog to my parents house for the holidays, but thats about it. The old filter was black, so I replaced it. Only issue is that they charge too much. They could sell them for less, but take advantage of the fact that there are fake filters out their that people have to worry about. I bought these even though there are cheaper version online, because nearly anything you find online will not actually be true HEPA. Part of the cost comes from certifications of the product. Cheaper versions dont have any certifications, and therefore dont necessarily meet the specifications you are looking for. Youd likely be better off just putting up a towel instead of buying a cheap knockoff filter honestly.

I was hesitant to purchase these replacements due to the number of negative reviews claiming there is some foul odor coming from the filters. I do not notice any odor at all. I suspect those reviews are trying to divert buyers to purchase cheaper knockoff filters. Trust amazon / coway and buy the originals, its worth the extra ~$10 or so to know youre getting an actual HEPA filter

This is my 5th time buying one of the official replacement filters. When I put the filter into my purifier it filled the room with an odd new filter smell (I wouldnt say it was chemical like or unpleasant but was definitely noticeable when you walked into the room the purifier was running in), I ended up ordering a replacement directly from the Coway website because I thought the one from Amazon may have been a defect but it also had the exact same issue. Weird because the first couple times I bought filters they were completely odorless. Luckily after like 1-2 days of running the filter the smell went away completely, you could probably do the same by just taking it out of the box and setting it outside or something for a day. Overall the filters do work really well and Im glad the new filter smell faded pretty fast.

Good product works great

Perfect fit for the air. Sometimes it’s pats to go with the name brand. I bought a generic one. It still did the job, but holding them together the Coway one appeared to be a little thicker.

* Updated to 1 star as I ordered a 2nd filter set for my other air purifier and seem to have received a counterfeit. This was also ordered directly from Amazon, so buyer beware! Note in the image that replace is relpace and odor is oder. Also noted that the correct filter set has #3304899 in the lower righthand corner vs #3109905 in the counterfeit. The COWAY logo is also the incorrect font. I expect better than this when ordering from the 1st party instead of shady 3rd parties. * Product appears to be genuine OEM replacement filters from Coway. These were ordered directly (sold by) Amazon and delivered on the last day of 2021. The black filters did not have any sort of chemical smell, however the same cannot be said for the HEPA filter, sadly. The HEPA filter had an incredibly intense chemical odor upon removing it from its plastic wrap. I left the filter to sit in the garage for 1.5 weeks before attempting to use. The odor dissipated some, however as soon as the filter was placed in the air purifier and ran, the odor emitted was very strong again. I can only imagine how bad it would have been had I not left the filter to rest for that 1.5 weeks prior. I ended up having to place the air purifier in the basement, running on maximum strength, for 24+ hours. After running the air purifier for 24+ hours, the odor finally dissipated. This type of chemical odor should not be acceptable for a consumer product, particularly one aimed at cleaning the air. I would imagine that if you used this filter directly without a safe place to get rid of the odor, this could potentially be a health risk? This is only my opinion, not an expert (clearly). I would look at finding an alternative solution in the future should reviews reflect strong chemical odors persist.

The product is as described and the replacement is the right one. My problem is that its fragile and came to me damaged. Please see pictures and dont be surprised.
