Difficult to find this type of bulb today. Most places want you to purchase the Neon-like night lights. i find that type too dim to be of value. The bulb-type cant be beat. yes, it uses more energy than the newer-style bulbs. the energy needed is insignificant when compared to the safety these bulbs provide.
