4x8gb to completely replace with same memory and get to the max supported by my 2019 27” 5k iMac i5 3ghz. If you’ve never bought and replaced memory before, make sure you check the maximum supportable memory for your iMac. I see people leaving reviews for the same model iMac as mine up to 64gb but guess what? It will show that you have 64gb but you’re wasting your money, because this board and chipset only supports max 32gb so that’s all it will use. Also best to replace using the same memory throughout rather than mixing modules

Easy to install

Had to swap out my other 8GB stick and put it into my other slot, but overall it was easy install. No issues, worked fine for three years until I retired the laptop.
