I used this SSD for my PS5 to boost my storage beyond what I had in my external drive. With me sitting and gaming, it seems about as fast as the stock drive, so it loads and runs downloaded games without a hitch. I do wish it came with some better instructions for installing the heat sink, but a little bit of YouTube searching worked.

Compared to other big name brands these were great value. Got it for £165 lightning deal offer. I already had the 1tb version of previous P5 none plus. The Samsung, Sabrent and WD were all nearly a £100 dearer they come with heatsinks which are not good for the actual drives as they cover the nand as well as controller. Its the controller that needs to be cooled not the nand. My motherboard has built in heatsinks and pads which I modified to just cover the controller part. You can do this with the others too but its just easier when the heatsink is already fitted on the motherboard.

The SSD drive is fast but unstable. Windows 11 kept freezing and sometimes reboot by itself. I didn’t know why until Windows started to check for drive errors, CHKDSK.

Acheté pour ajouter à la ps5 et il est parfaitement compatible.
