Less is definitely more with this crystal eraser. It does exactly what it says it does. Using small circular motions and a little bit of water (like a damp wash cloth as you go), much like an exfoliating glove, rub until the hair is gone. You DO NOT need to feel like you are scratching yourself. If you feel like it’s scratching you as you rub, then you’re probably using too much pressure. It took all the hair off my legs without any razor bumps or nasty after effects. The instructions say to use it every 2-3 weeks, but if you’re using light pressure, you could probably get away with doing it once a week.

Wish the edge was different so the abrasive part did not but up to a rolled edge.

Yes. It removes hair. But then there is lots of pain. Like a bad sunburn. It doesn’t matter whether you use water or not, my arms hurt something awful after. My legs seemed to be OK but I didn’t have as much use on them because I had already shaved.

So it works just can’t push hard on it it definitely gives bad razor burn

Requires an excessive amount of time rubbing yourself; does not remove hair quickly - rub too lightly and it removes nothing, apply pressure and it eventually removes hair but leaves strawberry marks everywhere which dont normally get even shaving. Is painful, hurts, stings. Difficult to get areas around ankles, knees, etc. still have to follow up with shave. Dissapointment.

Wow! Buy this now! I don’t even know how this works. I don’t even care. The hair on my lower legs grows in every crazy direction. I have never had the silky smooth feel that I have now. Not after waxing. Not after using a brand new razor. This thing is just crazy! I read the reviews about a ‘sunburn’ sensation that creeps up after use and I saw the pics of the irritated skin. I have none of that. I used it on dry skin and rubbed it back and forth - no doubt overlapping the same places several times. No unpleasant side effects at all. Goodbye stubble!! Total game changer for me. I did it sitting on my couch! Are you kidding me?? Love this so much!!

When I bought this I was kind of skeptical about it, because I have facial hair issue for years and have tried so many methods. I really must say this thing really works! I was really surprised at this. I should also mention that it does cause skin redness for a little while so I wouldnt use it on a visible area, if you need to go some place. I would also suggest doing small area at a time to reduce irritation of the skin.

This thing sanded a layer of my skin off, and now I have a giant scar on my leg from it

It feels like with a quick, light rub you aren’t really doing anything. Don’t go overboard. This is about 12 hours after I did the damage. I cleaned the area and used Neosporin like lotion. My legs have been burning all day. I had done some reading to see how to use a crystal hair remover the best way. I’d recommend exfoliating first, using it when the skin is wet, etc. but also, start LIGHT. And avoid sensitive areas. I fear a lot of these will scar or become ingrown. Probably switching back to razors. It worked and my legs are smooth, but after this glass sandpaper, I’d worry if there was hair left.
