Crystal Pilot XP1 Rotating Plotter

Tinted Plastic! Ruler is made well and functional however why in the world is it msde od dark tinted plastic!! It makes reading chart underneath difficult. Why isnt it clear plastic?!

Great plotter and VFR-IFR placard is very handy. Plotter is very well made and I don’t see any problems with the statute mile scale. Highly recommended.

When calculating trips or studying for tests you have enough to worry about. Just rotate the dial and let it give you the reading instead of trying to calculate angles on top of everything else.

Arrived really quickly. Just what I needed. The quality is way better than some I have used before. Love that it has a compass that turns, unlike others. This makes flight planning way easier. To the guy that said the measurement was off, I dont have that problem, it’s dead on all the time. Also the information chart that was included was definitely a plus.

The overall quality is high for this plotter but having it so it rotates makes all the difference. That is a much better and more practical design that helps give you more accurate measurements. Plus it comes with a small VFR and IFR info placard that is really handy.

Very good, also like the card that comes with the plotter for VFR and IFR.

It is a high quality plotter made of a nice think plastic. The last one I had was an ASA plotter and it snapped and shattered as i was trying to put it in my flight back. I guess I bent it too far but it wasnt far at all really. I am a CFI so I use this a lot to train my students and I like the durability of the Crystal Pilot Plotter. I will be looking at more of their stuff in the future.

Good product as advertised, insert card is useful.

On the stature mile side, the 10-mile mark is on the 11th mile. I will buy the ASA model to replace this one.
