Crystal Whiskey Glass, Set of 6, Clear, 6 Pack

After seeing these glasses on The Whisky Vault YouTube channel, I decided to purchase a set. I had been drinking out of a standard rocks glass for years. The glassware is very high quality and a pleasure to hold. I bought these expecting to just improve the enjoyment of the smell of the whisky. However, I was surprise by how much the flavor intensified, and not just the nose. My guess is that this is due to both the more intense smell created by the tulip shape, and the smaller mouth of the glass. If you are a whisky drinker and dont have a set of these, you really are missing out.

There are those who think the glass from which you drink your beverage of choice really doesnt matter all that much. Dont listen to them. The size and shape of a glass can affect the surface area of the drink exposed to air, the flow of air through the mouth of the glass, and even the temperature of the drink depending on how much body heat is transferred when you hold the glass. You really do need the right glass for every drink. Ive come to the conclusion that the Glencairn is pretty much the perfect glass for whisky. This set of six comes well-packaged in a box (just cardboard, albeit attractive cardboard) which is suitable both for shipping (mine arrived in perfect condition, which is always a point of concern when ordering glassware over the Internet) or for gifting. Every whisky lover should have a set.

As I have gotten older and wiser, and therefore wealthier, I have come to enjoy fine whiskey and rums. These glasses are perfect for enjoying these tasty libations. They are built to condense the fumes so you can take in the nose prior taking a sip. They feel good in the hand and are made of nice quality materials. This set of six does not come in a nice box- there is a set of two that comes in a gift box. I had those also, but they mysteriously disappeared when my 23 year old son moved away. This box of six, accidentally purchased when I tried to purchase the 2 in the gift box, is actually perfect, though. We tend to enjoy lining up different types of rum or whiskey and sampling them side by side in order to compare. If we have a guest or two, we go through all 6 glasses.

These are designed to help with the nose of the alcohol. They are tulip-shaped for this reason. These are the best whisky tasting glasses you can get - Glencairn are the only ones any serious whisky drinker should have. They are crystal glasses and work great. I dishwash them and have had no issues. 5 stars and make a great gift when ordered through Prime no issues.

These are nice glasses. perfect for sipping, tasting, and enjoying your favorite or new whisk(e)y. Showed up packaged well with no breakage. Bought a set of 6 along with a bamboo holder for them. GlenCairn etched on the bottom of the glass. Nice heavy base that allows you to hold the glass without heating up the whisk(e)y. Didnt notice any flaws in the glass. The glasses with the holder would make a great gift

Their nice glasses, I’m planning to buy more for tastings. They are surprisingly strong as well. I dropped one in my porcelain sink and it just bounced around, no chip no crack
