The hole saw comes with everything you need, 3 pilot drill bits, hex key, mandrel. No instructions but it wasnt difficult to figure out. I needed this to build a cornhole (bag toss) set. 6 hole. However, my battery powered drill was not strong enough to drill more than 1/8 deep. When I tried to use my corded drill I found that the shank on the hole saw was too large for the drill motor chuck. Need to find a buddy with a better drill motor to finish up.

I cut a 6 inch hole in the side of a shipping container with it. It wore it down some but it is likely good for another hole in that kind of metal. I used transmission fluid yo lube the cut. It is heavy but that is probably what let it survive the tough cut.

This is a heavy hole saw and we were just using for drywall for lights. A very nice saw but I do wish it had more venting holes for visual into where hole is going and dust/heat extraction. Works great. It is thicker than most saws so will create more dust.

This is an Amazon Vine review of the Csoom 6” hole saw Well, its sharp, I can tell you that, almost cut myself opening the package! The set comes with the hole saw, the mandrill, an allen wrench and three extra drill bits for replacement, honestly, at this price, this is a great deal. The only real complaint I have is the mandrill itself. It’s a little unique from others I have seen and used, the pegs that prevent the hole saw from slipping are separate pieces, and as a result, getting the mandrill installed onto the hole saw is a bit of a chore. It’s not the worst thing in the world, but it’s hard to line up the bottom portion of the mandrill, the install the pegs and try to get the top of the mandrill installed onto the pegs all at once! This process should be a lot easier. Luckily, the setup of the mandrill is pretty standard and I am able to use another one I had that is much easier to install. All in all, this is a nice tool and well worth the price, while not perfect, it’ll do the job!

This 6 inch hole saw set is heavy and made of much thicker steel than most. The tooth design allows for a nice cut in plywood and drywall, but creates a good amount of dust. The blade could use additional venting to reduce heat and allow for dust to clear, but so far it hasnt been an issue. The mandrel is a really nice design and takes only a couple of seconds to install - all without tools! To install it you just screw the bottom portion of the mandrel into the top of the blade until it contacts the blade. Then you back it off a tiny bit to line up the holes and then screw in the top part of the mandrel. This will cause the locking pins to pass through the mandrel and blade to keep them from turning individually. This top screw-down also acts as the lock nut in this mandrel which is truly a great design. Im not sure why anyone has had an issue putting it together, but I found it to be really easy, and super quick. I really appreciate not having to use any tools to attach it. Theres even extra centering bits included! I gave the saw 4 starts because its rather heavy and can cause fatigue in the user after a handful of overhead holes. Also, I wish the kirf was a little thinner. (The thickness of the blade itself)

Updated review: Im really impressed by the seller, CSOOM. I wrote a review complaining about the assembly, and they updated their listing to provide a picture of instructions. They also are working on their packaging to prevent the very sharp saw from cutting through the box. Ive also used this hole saw a few times now, and it does a great job cutting through drywall and even OSB plywood. Original review: If you look at CSOOMs photos, youd think it arrives assembled. But you can see from my photo that it is not assembled. Actually, what I didnt show is that it is not even packaged! The packaging on this is so poor that the teeth of the green blade just ripped through the flimsy cardboard box it is in. I was very fortunate that all of the pieces were still there. So when you get it, you get those pieces. And NO instructions. What you need to do is dismantle the black thing (youll need needle noise plyers to pull out the cotter ring, then some channel pliers to unscrew it). Then put a drill bit in there, and use the included allen wrench to secure (do this before installing!). Then place the weird pole things on the black circular disk and insert that through two of the 4 holes in the green cutter. Then screw on the other black piece from the other side.

Considerably less expensive than many others but it cut two holes in 3/4” plywood with ease!

This 6” hole saw is a heavy duty. It has a lot of weight to it and is made of thick steel. The teeth are very sharp and after a few cuts in 2” thick wood, they have not dulled out nor have I seen any broken teeth. Highly recommend if you need a hole saw for larger holes.
