> 24 hourI bought this case to protect my PS Vita when Im not using it. The case itself works fine with the Vita is resting inside it, but inside the case is another story. The flap that will hold your games doesnt keep them very snug, so if you open the case to quickly or if its dropped your games will fall out. There are two straps that hold the PS Vita in place, and the first time I pulled on them to slide the Vita underneath, one of the straps broke. I wasnt even pulling that hard. This isnt a terrible case - Its stll usable even with one broken strap, but if you wanted a really nice Vita case I would suggest you look elsewhere.

> 24 hourIve used this case for almost a year, and it has protected my Vita well. I usually put the Vita + case in a backpack or my pocket, and usually just toss them in with other items. The case has definitely protected my Vita against scratches or worse and given me peace of mind when transporting it. However, the slots to hold the game cartridges are very poor. Very often, Ive opened the case to find that one of the carts has slipped out or notice that one has slipped out as Ive closed it. If you open the case too quickly, I imagine that the carts could easily go flying out of it. Since Vita memory is so expensive, Ive opted to go physical with most of my collection. This flaw means I need to be very careful with my games.

> 24 hourI bought this to hold my Vita when I am out and about. I put it in my small tablet bag with other various electronics and it fits very well. The case itself is quite sturdy and I like the carabiner option. My one complaint is the lack of a way to hold extra memory cards, as my library is mostly digital. I did remedy this with another product that fits in the case, however. Update: The carabiner option has become too damaged to be safe anymore. The cloth strap holding the biner has nearly ripped off on one side because the case does not sit flat when hanging from the carabiner. Seeing as I did not use it that way very much, I am not terribly upset, but I am disappointed. Otherwise, this case has been pretty great.

> 24 hourGreat, relatively slim case for protecting my vita. The slim vita will sit more snug inside the case than my original one, but it works well for protecting my console for transport. It has 2 larger mesh pockets and 4 slots for game cards. I havent used the mesh pockets for anything as they wont hold any charging cables, but I did try out the game card slots. I would not recommend placing a game card in the slots available though. I had a game fall out and get lost. Thankfully, I lost the card at a friends place and was able to get it back, but I wont be placing games in this case anymore. I think this case is best if i am just taking the vita without any need for a charger or accessories. I have a different case I like if I want to actually carry a charger or go on a trip. Still, this is my favorite case for carrying around my vita for play on the go. It slips easily into a purse or backpack without a lot of effort. For reference, I own 2 other vita cases. The first is the hard, big clunky hard plastic version officially endorsed by sony. This plastic case is a tank. It probably provides the most protection for my vita, as this case would survive quite a bit. However, considering that it carries 3 game cards, a memory card, and just the vita itself, it is much too large and heavy for me to choose this case on a regular basis. Still, as I own 3 vitas now, its still helpful to keep around. The other case I have in addition to this case is the Smatree P100, which is an excellent case for longer trips or travel. It seems like this one is made of similar material to the CTA case, but is much thicker and has a zippered pocket, which can accommodate my charger and a couple other items. It comes with more game card slots than the CTA, but I have not yet tested these for how well they hold the cards. It looks like they will hold more snug than the CTA one though. However, unlike the CTA, which has elastic bands to hold the vita system in place, this case has an easy lift out tab, so that you can grab the vita quickly, which leads me to believe I should be relatively careful to open this case on a flat surface.

> 24 hourIm a big fan of slim cases for handhelds/phones/etc. This case fits my PCH-1001 PS Vita perfectly. Im all digital (except one physical game) on Vita, so I dont care about the game cart holders, but they dont seem too good. Im sure they get the job done, though. The little flap with the game cart holders arrived a little bent; I think the sewing was a little off on mine. But what I really wanted was a light, tight fitting case, and this case does that perfectly without breaking the bank. I almost want to buy another one for my New 3DS.

> 24 hourHere I have the beautiful well made genious of a device in the PS Vita. But this case leaves some to be desired. The outside looks great..its plain, black and looks like its something well made. Then you unzip it and look inside and its pretty poorly constructed (or maybe i got a defective one) the padding around the edges is all there (except the right side seems to be crushed in and non existant) also, my game card slots stitching completely came unraveled, to the point where i just finished the Inevitable (it was going to fall apart/fall out) so I just removed it with a seem ripper & scissors. So that sucks as I was looking forward to actually using those 4 slots, but i guess not now :-/ If youre being cheap and wanna save some scratch, then $10 isnt a big loss...but id probably reccomend spending $20 and getting something better made. Or, maybe i just got a defective one...I dunno, I would send it back, but its a lot of hassle for a $10 case. Probably ill just find a great case later and either toss this, or give it away. I gave it a 3/5 stars assuming i just got a bad one. My own personal case, more like 2 1/2 out of 5. And mine too stinks of toxic chemicals.

> 24 hourEdit (6 July 2013): Im putting this from a 2 star rating to a 3 star rating. It really has held up well and has protected my Vita. Its quite impressive actually. But I cant stand how the upper flap is layered still; its still unusable. ---------- Original review: Generally, it does what it says. It carries the PSVita and protects it from harm. Ive dropped it once on concrete on accident and nothing was harmed. It gets the job done. However, Im not happy with [mostly] everything else. The carabiner that was suppose to come with it, didnt even fit in the small loop. Ive tried shoving it in, but nope. Doesnt fit at all (so I left it in the box). The top level where all the games and memory cards, etc go is tucked into the case in such a way that it always flaps into the top. Some pockets for the memory cards are sown into mesh. This makes no sense whatsoever. They could have put a zipper instead of open pockets so that the games, etc wont fall out. I also would NOT recommend putting earphones in it. There is just not enough space because of the flapping layer. When the Vita is in the case and strapped in, you cant push the L or R buttons. I really wish it did so I could at least play on it while its in the case. On the center that holds the top and bottom together, I can see some parts already being undone. Ive had it... almost 3 weeks now? For the price of it right now, ~$8-ish, its decent. It does its job. If you have a few extra dollars to spend, Id probably get a better one. The case I received didnt have that dreaded smell, so thats a good thing. Edit (5 Feb. 2013): Im lowering this to 2 stars because I suspect that its scratching my PSVitas screen. About a week into use, I noticed 3 0.5-1 inch long cuts on my screen (luckily I had a screen protector) and it had to have come from the case. If they got rid of that layer on top, I think it would have been fine. Edit (19 Mar. 2013): Im actually surprised that this case has held up for so long. There hasnt been any major rips or tears or anything like that. As for the case being too small to hold the Vita, I made a quick adjustment that seems to have done the trick. Instead of putting the Vita inside (the right way up), I put it in upside down so that it sits on the top flap. This method stops the two joysticks from being smashed since the system is being held up by the two cords when the case is closed.

> 24 hourThis is a nice case for the price. I never had any issue with smell or anything like that, as some have mentioned with this case and many other cases seem to have as a characteristic. Its a nice, semi-rigid shell with enough buffer in the lining that the zipper is in no danger of coming into contact with the Vita. It comes with two elastric straps that help hold the Vita in place on its side of the case. I found them to be effective at holding the Vita in place but inconvenient, so I cut them out. Looks no worse for me having done that and, so long as one remembers that the binding should be on the left when opening, there is no danger of having the Vita fall out when opening the case. My one small complaint is in regards to the four game/memory card pockets on the protector flap. When you put game cards in the pockets, there is no way to see which game card is which without pulling them out of the pockets slightly. Also, the cards will fall out of the pockets on rare occasion. I found a loose game that had fallen out of a pocket one day. Realistically, though, I dont know how they could make the current design any tighter without turning it into a chore to get the cards out of the pockets. Overall, Im pleased with the case.

> 24 hourThis case has served me well for over a year. There are some things though that you should be aware of: 1. Mine has a bright red/black cover. I was not expecting this as the picture shows it as all black. Not a big deal for me, but others might be disappointed as the design isnt for everyone. 2. After collecting a few game cartridges, I attempted to place them into the case but the stitching easily fell apart. I did not feel comfortable leaving them in there as they were very loose, so I will be shopping for a new case. As others have said, it is a sturdy case and I have traveled with the Vita in this case in luggage and on vacations and it has done a great job of keep it secure. It is just the extra storage that I would not trust.

> 24 hourI got this a while back when i got my ACR (white) ps vita i think. Either way its white and i got he case at the same time since i ordered both very close together. I can fit the ps vita in the half with the straps, but its sort of a hassel to have to lift up the straps, i think ill just stop using them since there is a zipper after all lol (not to mention joysticks are and have been known to be very sensitive) So those straps are a big no no. Now if we put all that aside, yes the ps vita site in nicely and yes you could fit your 4 game cards in the little built in sleeves, and then maybe just maybe if you fold the power supply just right you can get a very if not extremely tight fit. What i would rather do and what i am doing is leaving the charger in another case along with everything i dont need. Sometimes i have just the usb end in the case being sold/talked about here if im in a rush. Bottom line im unhappy with my purchase, but have found half a use for it... at least its smaller than most the other case pouches out there lol
