I highly recommend this coax switch. It is rugged and appears to be quality which is what you want to maximize isolation for best performance.

Such a shame that the cheapest materials were chosen. The junky pot metal the knob was attached to didnt last a single use. Maybe a freak thing? Im happy to try again if the seller will send a replacement.

Product appears to be very well built and rugged. Working well with my H F system.

This is frequently recommended as the best coax switch by ham radio operators and this is for good reason. This thing is solidly built and works great. I have used it for switching between two radios and it has worked great on HF bands.

Although the heft of this Antenna Switch fells fairly strong, After one week the switch knob broke off with little effort. Damn sure not worth the money or the cost of returning.

I am a ham radio operator and have a long wire antenna in my back yard. It works great with my ham radio. I bought this to switch the antenna to my very old Heathkit Most Accurate Clock. The clock no longer resets to the correct time with just a little antenna, it needed a stronger signal. At first I would swap the PL259 antenna connectors manually. During the day the big antenna went to the ham radio, overnight I put the big antenna to the clock. I got tired of moving the connectors. So I use this switch, one click - antenna moved. . NOTE: if doing this with a transmitter such as my ham radio, BE SURE to have the antenna switched to the radio, I do this prior to even powering up my ham radio. . The switch has been in use for several weeks and the click to switch feels positive and has never failed. Its a quality device from a brand that I have used for decades without ever getting a dud.

I didnt open it to look but the case of this is solid, the switch positioning is positive. I have a Yeasu FT857 which has one UHF/VHF port. For FM operation I use a J-pole vertical, for SSB i use an 8 element quad for 2m and a 14 element yagi for 70cm. This switch allows me to switch between the FM and SSB antennas -one port has the J-pole, the other an MFJ-916B connected which has the yagi and quad. I can set the switch for the band I want and the dual band antenna on FM and the diplexor on SSB takes care of my band changes. The only way this could be a more perfect setup is to have a set of relays driven off the CAT on the 857, a very expensive alternative. I am seeing no increase in SWR with this in the line.

This is my second one of these..........And both work flawlessly, my reason for getting a second one. The device is very sturdy, and works as described. I will purchase another if needed. Highly recommend.
