DANIEL SMITH 285250077 Extra Fine Secondary Watercolor Set, 3 Tubes, 15ml

Its a no surprise that these paints are delightful to work with. It just makes me very happy to use them. Excellent pigmentation. Smooth and rewets very nicely. Very vibrant. Some of my paintings where I used these pigments are attached. Only thing is that this set is very expensive and I bought it full price but it was worth it.

Daniel Smith is excellent paint. I absolutely love it and these Primary and Secondary sets are a great value. The Petulance Red in the Primary set is stunning. I ordered one Primary Extra Fine set and one Secondary Extra Fine Set. I received two Primary Sets. Exchanging for the correct item is cumbersome so I‘ll keep two primary. Thankfully it wasn’t two Secondary sets. Just want to give folks a heads up, maybe buy one set at a time just in case they ship the wrong set the first time.

Super like this gold orange color, beyond expectations, I think I will buy it again.

Quality of the paints is 5 stars, but this set is not as versatile compared to the primary colour set of Perylene Red, Hansa Yellow Medium and French Ultramarine. This set contains secondary colours that you can mix from the primary set. These are convenient colours to save you some time from mixing. The price is good. Its almost like getting 3 for the price of 2 so overall its still a good deal.
