DANIEL SMITH Extra Fine Watercolor 15ml Paint Tube, Yellow Ochre (284600114)

I use the Yellow Oker as a Stop Flow for Silver soldering meaning wherever I put the paint solder will not flow. It works great for me and I believe the the color is also nice and texture is very smooth.

As Daniel Smith paint, it is a very high quality paint and a pleasure to use. One thing Ive noticed is that other yellow ochres are more yellow / brown, whereas this is more of a brown / orange. As a result, I tend to use my Windsor & Newton yellow ochre more often. Im not sure which is the correct hue between brands, I just prefer the W&N hue over the Daniel Smith hue.

Although I have a mixed brand of paints in my palette, I prefer Daniel Smiths yellow ochre over other brands. Its PY 43 is highly pigmented and rich.
