DAP 00585 Latex 6oz, White All Purpose Plastic Wood Filler, 6 Oz

Easy to use. Cleans up with water. Hardens really hard

I needed to fill a fairly large hole (~2x2x1) that the previous homeowner had made in the wall of a wood shed in the back yard. I followed the directions, erring on the side of caution by letting it dry for a little over two days. When I drilled starter holes into the DAP, I was very pleased with the strength the substance provided - it seems like it is as strong as the wood that I filled in. Ive lost track of how many times Ive purchased DAP products but their record is AOK since they have never once let me down.

the only thing i would do differently is to buy a jar instead of this tube....its not as easy to dispense from as it would be with an open surface

I had noticed a couple seams in our engineered hardwood floors separating. This product did a nice job of filling those gaps while blending into the natural maple finish. Very easy to apply with a small putty tool and a wet cloth.

I have tried this product on TV stand to fill some dents. Not stainable at all. Stain comes off. Doesnt matter how long you wait if you try to wipe it with wet towel all fillings comes off. Not curing even if you wait. Very disappointed.
