Darn Tough (1974 Number 2 Micro Crew Midweight with Cushion Mens Sock

These socks wear wonderful, breathe and feel comfortable.

If I were an influencer (but unfortunately I am not) this would be a company I would want to sponsor me or I would advertise for free. I LOVE Darn Tough socks. They are perfection. Fit just right and feel just right on your feet. It would be the socks Goldilocks would say were just right.

After many pairs of the Darn Tough Hiker Micro Crew Midweight Hiking Sock I decided to try this design and I am not disappointed. The quality and fit are exactly what I would expect from a pair of Darn Tough Socks! I would highly recommend this style.

Perfect for winter hiking

Love these socks. They make great gifts!

Despite the size chart saying XL is for size ~13 shoes, the XL size socks feel a bit tight. I have wide feet but only a size 11, and I would order XXL if available. Darn Tough is now my favorite brand of sock. But it is hard to tell the difference between the various exact styles on Amazon. It would be helpful if there were charts with actual measurements and clarification whether the socks are consistent thickness or padded in specific parts, etc.

Im a bit of a sock snob. I used to wear Smartwool exclusively. Then I came upon these little beauties. They fit very nice and have stood up to hunting, running, cycling, etc. and have held up very well. They are my new go to sock.

I use to think socks were socks, until I tried some better brands. Found out about these and they are now my go to for everything! Awesome for my gym shoes, everyday sneakers for dilly dallying around, and in hiking boots.

Made in Vermont, USA (hooray!), really warm, fun design but the top of the socks are just far TOO TIGHT on the CALFS & leave deep indention marks that last for hours & made my leg hair fall out...and I have smaller legs/calfs. >> Theres a balance between the holding the sock up & not strangling your calfs << This is a common problem with todays sock makers - they need to wake up. So this was my 4th & last pair, had to give 2 pairs to kids. (Ive bought 2 pair directly from VT & 2 from Amazon)

My husband has been wearing Darn Tough socks for years but these are his new favorites. He really likes the padding in the sole. I giggle over the outhouse rocket every time I see them in the laundry so it is a win-win situation.
