Dell P2419HC - LED Monitor - Full HD (1080P) - 24

My boyfriend recommended this monitor and so far I love it. Adjustable height and swivel to vertical is a nice feature.

my monitor lasted less than a year before spontaneously breaking. I was told my screen was damaged and that I had likely stabbed it with a sharp object. I was away for a weekend, turned my monitor on a few days later for work and it was like that. I also live alone so... how is that possible? This is the second time this model monitor has broken on me and has been deemed my fault. Would not recommend.

This is the monitor to get if you are a laptop user and want to just have one thing plug into your laptop for power, A/V connection, etc. You basically get a powered docking station and a high quality monitor all for the price of a powered docking station. Once I realized that, I knew this was the monitor I wanted. I do have a couple of complaints that are rather small and not enough to knock it down a star. First, I wish the Dell soundbar would attach to the bottom of the screen instead of to the monitor base. Its just less clean looking with the attached-to-base set up. Second, I wish there was some sort of clip for attached a webcam without it overlapping the screen. At the same time, the tiny bezel is great for a two monitor set up, which is probably worth the tradeoff. Third, though I love the convenience of the 2 USB ports on the side (in addition to the 2 in the back), these side USB ports arent useful with a 2 monitor set up. At the same time, if you had the 2 monitor set up, youd still have access to 6 USB ports for plugging in peripherals, which should generally be sufficient, but buyers should be aware of that. Again, if youre looking for a one plug solution for docking your laptop and keeping it charged with all of your peripherals plugged in and ready to go, this is the monitor for you. The few imperfections are tiny, and everything else is high quality. And the aesthetics of the monitor are classy and modest -- no shiny surfaces or giant logos or bright accent colors. Really recommend this mid-price monitor for use with current MACs with USB c-ports

Bought this for the USB-C connection (that also charges my MacBook Air). The bonus was that it has a base and stand that matches Apples Space Gray color.

I like to work with three screens, and because the MacBook Air only has two USB-C ports this can be difficult, but these monitors have solved that problem for me. Having a monitor that can not only provide power to your computer but also has its own USB ports to connect additional devices (mouse, keyboard, printer, etc) is extremely convenient, especially when the computer itself has a limited number of ports itself. Because of these monitors there is no need for a USB/port hub to connect multiple devices. The price has unfortunately gone up over $100 since I purchased these in late 2020 but I honestly think I would purchase them again because of all the benefits.

I bought this for my student son to use as an extended display for his 2016 macbook pro with USB C connectivity. Direct connect, no adapters, plug and play, he is delighted. Video quality is outstanding.

Great picture quality and love the Type-C PD with DisplayPort 1.2 daisy chain support. I’ve totally eliminated all the extra cables and docks in my setup for these monitors.

A little pricey, but it is because of the size and inputs. Very easy to put together. I like the cable management and the option to view horizontal or vertical.

Lowered the amount of wire and dongle I would need on my desk for my macbook. The only thing is that if you don’t have hdmi cable for your PC make sure you get the cable cause it doesn’t come with it.
