> 3 dayThis works seamlessly with several Dell laptops, including 7730. Uses the dual USB-C ports. Don’t forget to update the BIOS and add the drivers.

> 3 dayRead all reviews before buying. Dell Needs to fix the issues with their docking stations. I have several docking stations with both personal and work PCs and I am not satisfied that Dell really knows how to design a docking station. Connectivity issues occur randomly and are very frustrating when one needs to use their laptop PC with external devices (Monitors, keyboards, mice, ethernet, disk drives, etc). Powering off/on several times, rebooting, sometimes work, as does updating drivers, etc. The best workaround is to connect the needed device directly to the laptop.. IN SUMMARY, DELL NEEDS TO GET THEIR ACT TOGETHER. BUYER BEWARE!

> 3 dayThese docking stations are the only ones that I could find to support the high end laptops. Power requirements on these higher performance laptops are outside the reach of most. With that you need to be careful and make sure there are no other sources of heat near them as they tend to be warm during use. For the price I would think that they would be a little more resistant to heat. Keep yours in the open and not enclosed. Don’t stack with the power supply, but rather keep them separate and they will work.

> 3 dayWe just got the docking station, it works great as expected. The size is perfect, not taking too much space. We use it for setting up a laptop and 2 DELL monitors.

> 3 dayGreat docking station. Photos of the item do not reveal the dual USB-C cables it contains to connect it to the laptop. This docking station has a thick cable coming out of it that ends in a dual USB-C connector. I guess it needs this so that it can deliver the maximum power this laptop requires (I think max power over a single USB-C is 100W). The dual USB-C connector is unique in that the two connectors are keyed to fit together and held there with a magnet. So, if you want, you can separate the two connectors and plug just one in. This might come in handy if you have a different laptop youd like to connect to this dock, but it has only one USB-C connector (and lower power requirements than the 7440). This is a unique docking station, and I use it practically daily. Im running two 4K-60Hz monitors and numerous USB-A peripherals from this docking station with no problems whatsoever. If you need a dock for your Dell Precision laptop, consider this one - its great!

> 3 dayThis uses 2 THICK USBC cables that dont lock into the laptop all that well. Its pretty easy to nudge one and have it come disconnected. You also need about 4-5 inches of space next to the laptop to fit these cables. they do not bend and if you push them its easy to come disconnected. I had to order a second USB dock to attach to this dock to get more ports. Also had to order a USB->3.5mm headphone adapter because this doesnt have 3.5mm output or input. Pros - this can provide a LOT of power and support 3 monitors Cons - Dock is large. Power brick is gigantic. only has 3 usbA ports and 2 USBC ports. Portable is not a word i would use to describe this. My old laptop had a dock that it snapped into and provided power and more ports. I wish this was setup like that and just used the 2 USBC ports to attach. This would also lift the laptop since mine seems to have pretty limited airflow under it. Used on a Dell Precision 5570
