> 24 hourDoes exactly what its supposed to do. Port replication and high-speed charging on compatible laptops. Dell Docking station - and I assume other vendors solutions - are just an elaborate adapter to break out your laptops ports to provide more flexible connectivity options for network, video, sound, USB peripherals, etc. Anyone purchasing this because they think it is an external video card that will have or add on to the capability of their existing computer video card or other hardware is seriously misinformed and this is not the fault of Dell or anyone else. Also, if your device does not have thunderbolt 4 and you have a lackluster experience with this device, keep in mind running it in USB-C mode will only yield the capability based on the bandwidth of USB-C and not Thunderbolt. Long story short - you need to understand what you are buying before you buy and give a negative review.

> 24 hourThis device does not satisfy the power requirements of my Alienware m16 gaming laptop. I havent found one yet that does, but this was the closest and I took a chance on the Dell-proprietary power mode working - I still think it would, but this laptop needs *more* power. Also of note, it doesnt have an 1/8 audio out jack if thats important to you.

> 24 hourThis review is for the seller, not the product. The unit I bought does not recognize any USB devices tried plugging in. I tried with two different wireless mouse/keyboards and my phone. After updating all the drivers, and rebooting everything, my computer doesnt recognize the device as a Dell product. I did all of the troubleshooting steps, and called Dell tech support. According to Dell, this product was supposed to be sold in China and the warranty is registered in China. So I have to transfer the warranty to the US, return the product, and then get sent a new one from Dell. This process will take a month! Why would the seller send me a product that is supposed to be sold in a different country?

> 24 hourProduct provided approximately 3 hours of extended display operation. Upon restarting my laptop, the extended monitor would not work again. Dell support was very helpful in ordering a replacement.
