Rolls out and back very smoothly and reaches a long way.

Locking mechanism does not work!

Man I’m in love with this tape .. glides easy .. doesn’t bind.. you can hold it out over 8’ alone .. really love the numbers noted on the tape

Because it was Dewalt I thought it would be a good product but found out is is very cheaply made. The lock mechanism which requires a simple push down broke after 2 moths of very light use in the home office. When I say light use, I mean 8 or 10 times.
