Gets the job done

I use these for all sorts of metal prep and paint/rust removal during car restorations. They seem to last a very long time, so I always look for them. Yes you should use a face shield when using an aggressive wire wheel like this. I really like a good one like the Lincoln face shield. Please be safe, gloves, long sleeves, face shield and you will get the results you are after. If you are going to paint the surface afterwards, be aware this disk is aggressive, so if you are looking for a glass smooth surface, you will need to prime and sand to get there. This disk will remove material including the metal surface you are cleaning.

This is a bad mofo, it chews through paint and rust and knocks of small slag, it does a good job at prepping metal for welding, I cant complain, the wires stay tight and have only had a few dislodge so wear safety glasses and leather gloves, much safer then other cheap brads that fall apart, you pay for what you get always remember that when buying tools.

What can I say. I give it heavy use every day. Could not do without it. Already ordered a spare.
