Discovery Toys are truly the greatest collection of developmentally appropriate and intellectually stimulating toys on the market. Fun and Educational!

These are so great as a baby shower gift since they will last MANY years. They can be used at a very young age just for holding things and learning fine motor control. The colors are so bright. The cups volumes correspond to the numbers, so they can learn one plus one equals two. They can be used with water or sand. They will be useful for many years and are very durable. Not just stacking cups, but corresponding ones. My absolute favorite Discovery Toy!! (I am a math teacher!)

I bought my latest set as a baby gift - I have given many, many of these out over the years. We personally own a 10-year-old set without the frilly edges - but other than that they are the same durable, versatile cups. These things are nearly indestructible - they have been through a lot in our house and have just one small scratch on them. (With 3 boys plus a husband known for breaking things, very few items can withstand this test!) I cannot believe how many educational aspects Discovery Toys packed in to such a small, compact package. You can stack, nest, sort by color (each has a small, medium, large size), use as playdough stamps (animals on each cup go from small to large along with the cups), and even learn math (cup 1 plus cup 2 will fill cup 3). We love to play with them in the bathtub. They are the only baby toy that never got put away in between any of our kids - ages 10, 7, and 7 months. I think that says it all!

Kind of flimsy plastic . Would be hard for a toddler to actually stack . Ok for nesting . Would not buy again . Expected more from discovery toys .

I bought these for my 8 month old grand daughter. She loved picking them up and holding them. Now 11 months old, her favorite game is to knock them down when her Pap stacks them up.

a great learning toy for many ages. So many different angels to teach the little ones. I would recommend it.

My kids love these cups. We bought them for my sons birthday when he turned one and he is still playing with them, two years later.

I used to sell these toys, and this set was played with for a good five years. They are great for the obvious stacking and water/sand play. But they can be used to teach pattern recognition, counting (the number of dots match the number on the side), and math because they are volumetricly correct. So if you fill the 1 and 3 cups, they will exactly fill the 4 cup. You can also teach how to tell time by the positioning of the dots in the circle on the side, but most people have digital clocks these days. There may be other versions out there that are as versatile, but when our grandson turned one, I bought him these.
