This is a nicely made cover, the finish is well done. The color does compliment the colors in my kitchen well, so I am happy with the black finish. It is a flat, not gloss finish, so around the sink it won’t show smudges as well as one that is chrome finished. I simply removed my old one dropped this one on and that was it. Nothing complicated about it. The metal isn’t real thick, but since I can’t imagine it is going to be abused much sitting on my counter, I anticipate it stay looking good for a long time. Fit and finish is great and I would recommend it to anyone looking to match their black fixtures and appliances.

Extremely easy to replace the older rusty cover and matches the rest of the kitchen hardware perfectly. Double check the height of your current air gap cover or youll see the small gap at the base of the cap. Definitely not a deal breaker but its good to point out.

I have a black sink and faucet and my old stainless steel gap cover stuck out like a sore thumb. Its amazing how something so small can make such a big difference! It popped right on and looks great!

Its a cap for your dishwasher air gap. It looks better than the chrome one that mine came with. It would look even better if I had a matching faucet. You just replace your old cap with this one. Its a good size that it will fit over the existing air gap. The material seems sturdy and feels better than the chrome one that mine came with.

This air vent cover feels solid and has a good weight to it - I have had them split and fail before, but this one feels different. The flared base is a perfect fit for the shoulder of the vent flange (see pic). I show a pic of the shoulder diameter because that is critical for a good fit but it is not mentioned in the item description. This cover makes an eyesore disappear, recommended!
