Dismantling Knife-1000V Insulated

Great tool

These are great! I put them in my bag and use them whenever I can. The boot keeps the insulation from getting damaged. The knife can be pushed or pulled. Pricey but worth it if you do a lot of work with any type of non metallic cable.

Doesnt work very well for all cable. I cut my finger when it slipped out of the sheilding on a cable. It does work well when cutting like 16awg 18c, but not something like 14awg 4c.

Love it. The blade seems cheap though and Im not quite sure how Im going to sharpen it.

If you are looking at this tool, you more than likely know the brand and product line.

The best dismantler tool I have used. Plus its is 1000v rated insulated.

The knife did its job well to the point it sliced a chunk of my hand because I was not careful where I was holding the cable. Total dummy mistake on my part but knife is sharp so it sliced my hand cleanly three stitches later. But as a tool it cleanly sliced open bundled cable it did get stuck but when it does, do not push harder let go of pressure and try to adjust the angle of the blade so it can slide easy again.
