Great needles

I bought these for pine needle baskets and they are just right.

The size and eye on these needles is good but they bend easily. I was using it for blanket stitch applique, which is one of the uses listed, and it bent right at the eye. It hasnt broken yet, and Im still using it but Im sure it will eventually break. Ive only used one needle so far...maybe it was defective. Ill see how the others hold up, but if they bend too, I wont be buying them again.

Great for slow stitching

They were fine.

I use them to weave in my crochet tails and the tails stay more secure than when I used a tapestry needle and I dont have to weave in as much to secure the yarn.

As another reviewer said, the eye is not smooth; its like running your floss through a tiny bed of thorns which makes the floss all shreddy-looking. Also the needles point is nearly as dull as a tapestry needle; certainly not sharp enough to draw blood (not that youd want to do that). But you get 6 needles of the same size instead of 4 @ 22 and 2 @ 18 (available from Dritz--18 is larger than I like to work with [needles get smaller as the number goes up]). Im going to see if can sand the eyes and points, but really, isnt that the job of the needle makers?

Worked for the wife so thats all that matters...
