This is a great game. We started out cherry picking or favorite cards but found it much more fun doing the random draw - every game is totally different. Only problem is getting my wife to play anything else - of our 25+games.

I played a friends version and decided to buy my own. Cards came in multiple plastic wrapped units and needed to be sorted upon arrival. The game comes with a nice insert to organize your cards. Cards are thick and crisp and felt like they will last a long time. The instructions are quite clear and at the end, it contains multiple different combinations to play with the base set in addition to combinations possible with the expansions. I would recommend this version over the original as a few of the bad/useless cards in the original have been replaced with more interesting choices. Great game!

So far I’ve played Dominion about 4-5 times, usually 2 player, and it has been very enjoyable for me. Since me and my fiancé have played deck building games before (such as Ascension and Aeon’s End), it wasn’t too difficult to learn. It was pretty easy to pick up after watching a really short youtube tutorial on how to play. I would say it would definitely make a good gift for people who love board/card games! All of the possible supply card combinations makes playing the game so different each time~ I definitely highly recommend this game, and will consider getting expansions in the future after I feel like I’ve mastered all the current cards in this version.

Extremely addicting. Can play many games really quick once you get the hang of the game. I highly recommend for anyone looking to have fun by dominating friends

Dominion is awesome. I didnt buy it for a long time because its not exactly the most appealing looking game, but our group recently got into deck builders and my mother in law was looking for present ideas for Christmas. We opened it right away, but I have to be honest and say that we couldnt bring ourselves to play right away. The rulebook is horrendous. Absolute walls of text, most of it unneeded. Nevertheless, we persisted and after we managed to find the game overview, we realized how simple the game really is. Draw a hand of 5 cards from your deck. Play an action card and follow the directions on the card. Buy something. Clean up. My friends tell me it was super easy to learn and familiar feeling for Magic players, but I have never played a game like that and I caught on easily. I still havent quite developed my strategy, but the nice thing is Dominion isnt a game that causes a lot of butt hurt, in our experience, so its still fun to play even when you lose. It doesnt have the terribly long stalls like Catan can. It doesnt play quite as fast as the box says, but perhaps thats because we play for fun and not to break the game. If youre into card counting and probabilities, you could probably strategize your way to a win very quickly, though!

Super fun game! came promptly, neatly, and required only a few minutes of set up. Love playing it with friends that dont mind shuffling fairly often. (it is a deck building game)
