Once I installed this device, along with several superior long screws, I find that with my normal deadbolt and this device, that it would take a pretty strong assault to gain entry. I feel confident that a simple 200 pound kick will not gain entry. Ive had to kick doors in, and usually the side molding and small screws into the 2 X 4 framing is what gives way. This clearly distributes the weight in a much wider (leverage) manner will require a much more vigorous assault to gain entry. A little pricey in my opinion but is far superior to another deadbolt or comparative assembly.

I wanted to secure my outside basement door, which is a very heavy and solid wood door; the kind they just dont make anymore. The Door Bull was easy to install in literally 5 to ten minutes. It fits just snug enough and really secures the door. It provides that added security in addition to the existing knob lock and dead-bolt. Really a solid and ingenious device. With the three 3-inch screws going deep into the door jamb, the Door Bull provides a very wide latching area that is almost three times the surface area of the dead bolt alone. Anyone trying to kick in the door will have to shatter the door and the jamb to splinters before the door can be compromised. Great product. I will be ordering a second one for the garage door.

Took me around 5 to 10 min to install (recommend to watch youtube video). Excellent design, light weight, and very sturdy. Comes with all the required hardware and drill bit. 10X efficient than the dead bolt. Fell much safer. Very happy with the purchase.

This is an awesome product that works if you throw away the included cheap junky screws and go buy some good screws at the hardware store

As almost everyone else has said, the product is well done and works well. The included screws stripped out almost immediately. Do yourself a favor and go buy three, 3-inch stainless steel screws at the hardware store and use them instead. Four stars because I think for the price they should include better screws.

Excellent product for doors with wood posts. It comes with hardware/screws and also a wall mount holder to safely store when not in use. I had metal posts and I was not handy enough to install it on metal posts and hence returned it. It works perfectly well on wood door posts and if you know how to drill steel and use machine screws, it would work perfectly on metal posts also.
