We have this on our door going down to the basement. My 6 year can adjust it but its still over my younger kids heads.. easy to install and works great

i have these on all of my doors and they have been great so far. we’ve had them for 2 years now since my daughter learned how to open our lever door knobs. you can move the top and/or the bottom lever to the side, whatever your preference to unlock it. i haven’t had to remove them yet so i’m not sure if they damage the door upon removal, but they’ve stuck to the doors for 2 years with no issues

The devise does just what you said it did! My cat learned how to open my door but with this lock in place he can’t open it.

It’s a good product for child safety. But I found it little on the Expensive side

Well, the internal spring on one of them broke after a couple of weeks. The other is still working. I took the broken one off and it damaged the door badly. I even used my hairdryer on high heat to help and it took every layer of finish and some wood off. I’m definitely going to be loosing part of my deposit
