It is wonderful for my dry hair!

I put a little on my hair for added shine and it made my hair feel wonderful.

My never-treated, formerly red but now mostly gray hair is naturally very curly, dry, frizzy, has split ends, breakage, and can best be described as like straw. I love this serum-oil combo. After washing and conditioning, I use far more than the recommended 1-4 pump sprays (like about 16-20). My hair seems to totally absorb this product and doesnt feel oily at all. It doesnt add any weight or greasy feel to my hair, but adds slip and shine. I can actually run a fine tooth comb through my hair without tangles. And though Im sure theyre still there, I cant find any split ends. My biggest complaint is the shape of the pump: I wish it were indented rather than round so that my finger wouldnt slip off when using the pump.

Have you ever used something and didnt know whether it helps? Well, this is how I feel about this serum. Its not a big bottle and you have to use a LOT to feel any suppleness. Now, Im not dumping the product on my hair like a jheri-curl activator, just enough to remove dryness on my hair tips. Comparing this serum with the Pantene Gold serum, this product loses hands down. Not a re-buy.

This produce is the ONLY thing that has helped tame my frizz. Its awesome. I bought it on a whim at Wal-Mart and now I have it as a subscription on Amazon. Its terrific.

Smells GREAT. Leaves my hair soft and not greasy. A little goes a long way.

Excessively oily :/

This is my fly-away smoother. I have 3B, textured curls (biracial) that I straighten from time to time. I find that this doesnt seem to penetrate or nourish as well as argan oil, which is usually very transformative to the feel of my hair. However, the serum-in-oil smells wonderful, adds shine and helps to tame the wild hairs that like to adorn my hairline from time to time. I think its great for those reasons. Since its so lightweight, Id definitely recommend this for normal/fine hair used sparingly. If you have curls of any texture, a few pumps will add the necessary shine and definition without making your hair look oily when its dry. 4/5 stars.
